Thomas married Elizebeth Bird Phelps, daughter of Rev Thomas Spencer Phelps and Unknown, on 3 Aug 1837 in Maperton, Somerset. Elizebeth was born in 1813 in Maperton, Somerset and died in 1886 at age 73.
