James married Catherine Lavery in Cascade, IA. Catherine was born on 7 Jun 1836 in Pennsylvania and died on 9 Jan 1908 at age 71.

John married Anna Kinney in 1860 in Cascade, IA. Anna was born in 1835 in Galway County, Ireland and died in Feb 1921 at age 86.

4. Edward McGargill was born in 1831 in Ohio and died in 1907 in Iomgene, IA at age 76.

General Notes: Worked in a bank in Cascade (Debuque county) Iowa: when retired, moved to Imogene Iowa: maybe the move to Imogene was before this. Born in Ohio, where he raised silkworms with his brother. He may have been a Union soldier during the civil war.

Left Ohio in 1856 with brothers, for Dubuque.
